Not that it matters much but I'm curious how teams are separated into their respective regions. Each year it seems there are a few situations across the board that make you scratch your head and say "Huh?"

For example, in the Pee Wee division this year, Region 1A is an all-Davis county region with the exception of the much more Northern team of Plain City Blue.

I understand why the league doesn't want teams from the same franchise playing each other during the regular season (And is the reason another Farmington, Layton, Syracuse or Kaysville team wasn't put into that region) but, in this particular case, it would seem several other teams - Davis county's Clinton, West Point or Clearfield, the more southern Weber county teams like Roy, Washington Terrace or S. Ogden or maybe even Morgan - would have been a better geographic fit.

How was it that Plain City was the one selected to leap-frog all of those teams to be put into such a separated region?
